A black Ruger handgun was located inside a holster in the defendant’s right front jacket pocket. Shortly after, police found Yanko in a breezeway next to 10 N. The groups had been drinking alcohol at different nearby bars before they came into contact with each other in front of the historic courthouse in West Chester.Īfter a verbal altercation, a fight broke out, and Yanko was observed shooting the victim. The victim was transported to two different hospitals for treatment.Īuthorities said the incident allegedly began after a disagreement between two groups of people over a girl and a football game. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
